Media was formed in 2001 by Mariane Maffeo-Muriel, a twenty year veteran
public relations and marketing executive based in Phoenix, Arizona.
After a successful career that included working on corporate communications
projects for industry leaders like The Walt Disney Companies, Wyle
Electronics and Marshall Qualtec (now Six Sigma), Maffeo opened the
doors to her virtual office to clientele across town and around the
world.
Since that time,
Maffeo-Muriel has worked on a product launch for a U.K.-based software
development firm, market research for a global telecommunications
company, web development projects for small businesses and business
development and public relations for nonprofits, local businesses
and high-tech start ups. Maffeo has clients in medical device licensing
and manufacturing, financial services, building and construction trades
and tourism/hospitality and has done pro bono work for foundations,
